When it comes to the structural integrity of your build, we believe that steel is the cornerstone of strength, safety, and efficiency. That’s why all our light steel frames are manufactured from G550 BlueScope Truecore™ coil. It is 100% termite and borer proof. It won’t ignite or contribute to any fire within the home. It won’t shrink, wrap or twist. BlueScope Truecore™ allows for the wider spanning home and is made to all the relevant Australian Standards.

Wall Frames:

We engineer and fabricate the most commonly applied wall frames in Australia both 70mm and 90mm thick for the ground and all upper levels of a building. Our 0.75 or 0.95 BMT screw fixed assembly walls frames for all the internal and external walls are carefully designed and precisely fabricated to the nominated wind code including all nominated openings with in-built K-braces, cross braces and trussed or plated lintels for all the doors and windows openings. Based on our engineering design, stud spacings can vary from 300mm to 450mm and horizontal nogging can be up to 1250mm centers which suits to the cladding type.

Floor Joists:

Engineered trussed/webbed floor joists with depth ranging from 355mm to 450mm and at maximum 450mm centres are rolled to act with structural steel beams and posts as required to support mid floor system making sure to allow ease of access for all services like plumbing, electrical and air conditioning to run through. Our 0.75 or 0.95 BMT bolted assembly open webbed floor joists have 50mm step down for all wet floor areas if required by your build criteria.

Roof Trusses:

Engineered roof trusses at maximum 1200mm centres for sheet roof or 600mm centres for tile roof including truss binder at maximum 3000 centres are fabricated to the nominated design wind load and to the required roof pitch and type (gable, hip, skillion, flat). Gable end frames 90mm are integral and fabricated as part of our truss system to achieve the required roof pitch as per architectural design. Our 0.75mm or 0.95mm BMT bolted assembly trusses can span up to twelve meters on a single span length. SP6 speed braces are applied to support trusses above laterally. We use our stingray (H1A) brackets for all the truss tie downs and 85 x 85 fascia adopting brackets are also part of our system connections. Ceiling battens 22mm at 450mm to 600mm centres are applied throughout under roof trusses to make it ready for ceiling and sheeting.

Roof Frames

Our 0.75 or 0.95 BMT screw fixed assembly roof frames 90mm thick are designed and fabricated to the nominated design wind load and to suit the required roof pitch to the veranda area.

Parapet Frames:

Our 0.75 or 0.95 BMT screw fixed assembly parapet frames 70mm or 90mm thick are designed and fabricated to the nominated design wind load and to suit the architectural elevations.
